Community guidelines

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Respect and safety

Treat other users, organizers, providers, and moderators respectfully. Harassment, threats, hate speech, stalking, abuse, or intimidation are not allowed.

Private events and invitations

Invitation-only and private-event tools must be used only for legitimate guest coordination. Do not share access tokens publicly, scrape guest information, or pressure guests for off-platform payments or private contact details.

Controlled messaging

Event Q&A, organizer announcements, and invite-only discussion spaces must stay on-topic, lawful, and non-abusive. Spam, scams, fake urgency, and attempts to move users into unsupported transaction flows are prohibited.

Content authenticity

Do not post misleading event, place, dining, review, or provider information. Fake ratings, fake popularity, fake booking claims, fake attendance claims, and AI-personalisation claims that do not exist in the product are not allowed.

Reporting and enforcement

Users may report unsafe or misleading content. Outdoorsy may hide, remove, unlist, reject, restrict, or escalate content or accounts when needed for safety, legal compliance, or platform integrity.
